Because scar tissue is made of fibers, not skin cells, it does not have hairs, sweat glands or blood vessels and generally has a pale or pink shiny appearance, making it seem more visible.

Scalp Micropigmentation disguises the appearance of these scars by depositing tiny amounts of pigment to simulate follicles in the scar tissue, which blend with the surrounding scalp and shaved follicles or longer hair.

Our scar camouflage procedures typically take place over 2 – 3 sessions. The duration of these sessions depends on the nature of your scar tissue as scars retain pigment in a less predictable manner than normal skin.
